Not all businesses, especially home
based businesses take time to consider their corporate
image, in particular colour. The colour that is used in
your logo creation and business card design is important
for your image and branding in the marketplace. A good
graphic designer should be aware of the most suitable
colours to use in your cards for your business type and
its products or services.
Every year the Color Marketing Group
forecast the colours for the year. These colours are the
ones that you will see not only in logos and
business
cards but also in fashion, decor and other products.
Should your business change its colours with this
forecasting?
Depending on the type of business that
you operate, your logo will stay the same colour for a
long time. Corporate colours often favor blue because of
its dependability and successful mood. But if you are a
trendy company with trendy products, your business logo
could adapt to the changing colours. You will note how
many communications companies or technology businesses
have bright or trendy colours in their image or marketing
pieces.
Now that we are well into 2007 it is
important to be aware of the colour forecast for this
year.
If
you're thinking fluorescent colors, think again. From fabrics to food
mixers, furnishings to appliances, pillows to paint, next year’s key
colors are coming down to earth.
According to Color Marketing Group
(CMG), the leading international association of color design
professionals, the most powerful color trends for 2007 are driven by
concern for the environment.
